The paint job is so vivid in person, that glossy red comb and those layered feathers really pop on my shelf. It's a solid 12 inches tall, so it holds its own as a centerpiece, and the vintage charm feels authentic. Just wish it wasn't final sale, but the quality makes that risk worth it.
The 1980s detailing is something else—each feather has its own little brushstroke, and the 12-inch height gives it a real presence on the shelf. It arrived in one piece despite the fragile look, and the colors are so vivid they brighten the whole corner of my kitchen.
