The depth is just right for a big family-style pasta night — everything stays put without spilling over. The 12.5-inch size gives me plenty of room, and the floral motif adds a lovely touch to the table. Made in Japan, and you can tell the hand-painting quality is solid.
The floral painting is even prettier in person, and the 12.5-inch width is generous enough for a big salad or a pile of pastries. I've already used it twice this week for dinners, and it cleans up like a dream.
